Team Concert is IBM Rational’s newest collaborative development solution which brings together all parts of the software development lifecycle.
IBM Rational Team Concert is built around IBM’s Jazz technology platform, which is developed by the Jazz.net community. Team Concert combines an Eclipse-based client interface and the Jazz server to power the development environment. It is also the first IBM Rational product to be delivered using the Jazz platform.
Many facets of the software development lifecycle are integrated by Team Concert into a single environment including iteration planning, process definition, source control, defect control & tracking, build management, and reporting. IBM Rational Team Concert allows you track and manage the relationships between artefacts, promote sound development processes, and gather project metrics automatically and unobtrusively. Each Team Concert project follows a pre-defined process model however, the process models are customisable to meet your own specific requirements.
IBM Rational Team Concert provides a highly collaborative environment by integrating with existing email and chat tools so that team members are automatically kept up-to-date and informed of any and all relevant changes.
