Black Duck and Android

Clearvision has been working with several mobile phone operators over the past year supporting their configuration and change management requirements around the Android open source project. Android source code is managed using the open source tool Git. Our close working relationships with the telecommunication industry has enabled us to develop a number of Git related products which enhance the overall development experience of Git. In December 2010 Clearvision will announce the support of Git in the tool UCM4SVN at the same time the product will be re-branded to AgileSCM.

Our extensive knowledge of Git and Android has ideally positioned us to understand the challenges around licensing the use of Android code as part of a commercial package.
