Clearvision SCCM Product Updates
August 2010; Clearvision release two significant product updates:

CM Bridge

Version 2.0 of the CM Bridge (which enables fully bi-directional integration of two Software Configuration Management systems) now supports bridging between separate Subversion repositories allowing complete history (including intermediate revisions) to be transferred. In effect allowing the tool to be used as a Subversion multisite solution.

Coming soon, CM Bridge V3.0 will enable:
  • Many-to-many connections between repositories (ClearCase, Git and Subversion) allowing users to bridge the same information between any number of sites.
  • Relevant metadata such as log messages, time and date of commits and properties will also be transferred.
JIRA2Git and CQ2Git

Jira2SVN (the Atlassian JIRA and Subversion integration) and CQ2SVN (the IBM Rational ClearQuest and Subversion integration) have been extended to support Git repositories meaning both products can prompt the user for ticket numbers on Git pushes to a central Git repository, creating a seamless bi-directional link between your Git repository and change management system.

Coming Soon... UCM4SVN v2.4

The net version of Clearvision’s Subversion Application Lifecycle Management product UCM4SVN will enable:
  • A Jira Plugin for UCM4SVN, allowing Developer roles to drive UCM4SVN entirely from within Atlassian Jira.
  • An Eclipse plugin, allowing Developers to interact with UCM4SVN from inside Eclipse.
  • Usability improvements to both the UCM interface as well as the Java Checkout GUI.
Clearvision provide Subversion training, subversion consulting, subversion support and a range of subversion products including integrations between ClearQuest, Jira, Trac, Subversion, Git and a variety of migration tools. UCM4SVN will shortly be extended to provide Application lifecycle Management for the open source configuration management product Git.
