Clearvision Release CMBridge v4.2

CM-Bridge v4.2

Connect and replicate data between Subversion, Git, Mercurial and ClearCase

CM-Bridge fully integrates and shares data between open source version control products and commercial version control solutions including IBM Rational ClearCase, Subversion, Git and Mercurial.

New Features

  • Remove Subversion Branches created by CM-Bridge during an update
  • CM-Bridge 'private' Branches are removed even when an update fails

Bug Fixes

  • Changes in ClearCase are incorrectly 'bounced back' from Mercurial/GIT (as an identical check-in)
  • The Bridge tries to copy changes from a branch other than default/master when bridging ClearCase to Mercurial/GIT
  • The Bridge does not send an error email if a bridge is disabled during start-up. OVERRIDE_ME Message appears in log file
  • The Bridge creates a 'dummy' SVN update with no content
    • This issue occurs when updates in CC are performed only by the bridge during an update cycle

It's also a multi-site solution...

Until CM-Bridge was launched the only options for Subversion to Subversion replication were SVN proxi-write through or Wandisco.CM-Bridge offers significant benefits over the alternatives by fulfilling the three needs of a customer: it's cost effective, low administration requirement it replicates data effectively, efficiently and reliably. The cost makes the product a simple decision for all prospects; our aim is high quality, low cost solutions.
