| CodeBeamer release collaborative support for Mercurial SCM |

In recent years Subversion has received a large amount of coverage as the open source SCCM tool of choice however, product evaluators should not ignore the other two well respected open source version control tools on the market, GIT and Mercurial. Subversion has become a solid centralised open source solution with many CM specialists such as Clearvision, CollabNet, Polarion and Wandisco all producing excellent value add tools.
Intland, who produce the successful Collaborative CodeBeamer product, have released the latest version of CodeBeamer with support for Mercurial, the distributed version control tool. This means CodeBeamer now supports CVS, Subversion, Perforce and Mercurial - a further CodeBeamer plug-in for ClearCase is intended for release in 2009.
