Office2SVN Support

License

You must obtain a time locked license from sales@clearvision-cm.com

Please email the following information sales@clearvision-cm.com in order to obtain a valid license key:

Example

      License Request for Clearvision Office2SVN:
          Users: 50
        Company: Your Company name here
  Email Address: YourName@yourcompany.com
    Expiry Date: YYYY-MM-DD
        Product: Office2SVN
     

After receiving an Email with license details, copy them into file: C:\Program Files\Clearvision\Office2SVN\license\Office2SVN.properties

Pre Install

• Copy Office2SVN directory into C:\Program Files\Clearvision\

• Make sure Office2SVN.properties file is in directory:

  • C:\Program Files\Clearvision\Office2SVN\license

• Please note that in C:\Program Files\Clearvision\Office2SVN\temp folder, temporary file will be store do not delete it

• Run installOffice2SVN.bat - This can be found in the root of the downloaded file.

Microsoft Word

Installation Process

Prepare for installation

• Close all Microsoft Office Documents

Installation

• Copy Office2SVN.dot from the installation area C:\Program Files\Clearvision\templates\ into the Microsoft templates directory. Example:

  • C:\Documents and Settings\'username'\Application Data\Microsoft\Word\STARTUP

The above directory might vary according to your instalation

Check installation

• Open a new Word document - The Subversion menu should appear

  • 

Microsoft Excel

Installation Process

Prepare for installation

• Close all Microsoft Office Documents

Installation

• Copy Office2SVN.xla from C:\Program Files\Clearvision\templates\ into Microsoft Addins directory. Example:

  • C:\Documents and Settings\'username'\Application Data\Microsoft\AddIns

• Open a new Microsoft Excel Document

• Browse to Tools -> Add-ins...

  • 

• In the Add-ins window, check the Office2SVN box and press OK

  • 

• Browse to Tools -> Macro -> Macros...

  • 

• In the Macro window, type addsubversionmenu

  • 

Check installation

• After all of the above steps have been completed, the Subversion menu should appear
