Agile: A method for all industries

“Agile” as we know it began in the software development world. As the name would suggest, though, it hasn’t stayed still or confined to the one industry.

Agile was recently declared “the competitive advantage for a digital age” by Harvard Business Review. It recommends that organizations expand Agile thinking out beyond their programming teams – if the whole business is Agile, the benefits will be felt in all departments. Agile, Harvard Business Review concludes, should become integral to the business culture.

It’s unsurprising, then, that Agile methodologies are becoming increasingly popular with Enterprise businesses. We’ve put together the Slideshare below to examine the rise of Agile in the Enterprise: What exactly is it? How does it help? And why is it so popular?
