On Tuesday 17th September, between the hours of 8.30am - 1pm we held an epic event at The Gherkin in London — Winning with PPM in the Atlassian Ecosystem.
In collaboration with Mavenlink (responsible for uniting project management, time tracking, resource planning and project financials), we left attendees with all they need to know to excel their efforts.
Chief Revenue Officer Paul Renshaw kicked off the sell-out event by welcoming Solutions Architect Marie Kent onto the stage to discuss the importance of PPM and how traditional practises fit into the agile world.
Solutions Architect Darren Bowles took the mic next with PPM in the Atlassian Ecosystem, focusing on the fact that Jira is built to empower dev teams and drive agile efficiency. He then went onto discuss how in a bi-modal world, this no longer connects with a businesses programs, portfolio or executive management, but that there are plenty of other popular solutions to address the problem.
Mavenlink’s Business Architect Curt Worsey concluded the event with how to achieve real business value while using Jira. Teams no longer need to depend on Excel or a number of ad-hoc apps to understand the health of development projects. Fully integrated to Jira, he spoke of how this world class PPM solution Mavenlink + Jira brings Waterfall & Agile together.
Guests had the opportunity to ask experts their burning questions with a wrap-up Q&A, before enjoying the chance to network with like-minded attendees and the experts involved in the running of the event.
If you’re reading this and you attended, congratulations, you’re on your way to becoming a winner of PPM! If you didn’t don’t worry, there’s still hope.
