Job Description

Areas of Contribution:-

 We are looking for someone with real DRIVE (thick-skinned, desire to succeed, curiosity, wanting success) and INTERPERSONAL EFFECTIVENESS (ability to influence, persuade, convince) and SELF-MANAGEMENT (be planned and organised, able to juggle a variety of tasks and crucially always do what you say you’ll do). 

This position would suit a ‘Business Development’ professional who has some experience of the IT software/service industry and the capability to present Clearvision’s solutions, define and identify new business opportunities for Account Managers before handover.  Part of a team of two and of the wider marketing team, you will have the full support of the whole of Clearvision.

Duties will include:-

  1. Responding to contact all inbound web-based enquiries
  2. Ability to hold a new business call and investigate all areas of the client’s pain points
  3. Perform a full ‘lead handover’ to the assigned Account Manager, 
  4. Follow up all event leads using the same process/approach as inbound web enquiries
  5. Work on historic cold data using the same approach as inbound web enquiries
  6. Be thorough in follow-up and nurturing of leads using salesforce.com (our CRM system) and call backs to create a steady flow of daily work
  7. Generate ‘leads, data, information’ via Linkedin/Google
  8. Work with a ‘website traffic tool’ to monitor web traffic and action pro-active ‘reach out’ to generate prospect meetings

Performance Contribution:

Lead to appointment conversion rates / number of appointments

    • Inbound web leads
    • Event leads
    • Cold data
    • Website monitoring opportunities
    • Project work to source new business, prospects and customers
  • Knowledge growth across Atlassian / SDLC / ITSM / PPM

Essential Skills/Experience:-

Your application will not be considered unless you meet the following:-

  • Minimum of six months work experience in Business Development in any sector 
  • Demonstrable experience in the ‘Business Development’ lifecycle
  • Business Development experience via telephone, email and tools such as LinkedIn
  • Experience of working closely with marketing and sales teams
  • Excellent IT skills 
  • Able to demonstrate experience in a CRM system and data input to improve your own performance (eg. Salesforce)
  • Accustomed to being driven by sales metrics and performance-based compensation

Desired Skills/Experience:-

  • Minimum of six months work experience in Business Development for an IT company
  • Experience with an IT Services company or software or high-tech industry
  • Knowledge of Atlassian products (eg. Confluence, Jira)
  • Knowledge of SaaS products

Remuneration:-
