Job Description

Role Purpose

This position offers a smooth career path into IT sales within 18-24 months and will suit you if you have an interest in a sales career but don’t necessarily have any previous experience.  It is a ‘step into the sales team’ and offers the opportunity to ultimately become a highly successful IT Sales Account Manager.

Or you might be a current ‘Business Development’ professional with some knowledge of the IT software/service industry, although this is not essential, you must have a willingness to learn.  

Regardless, you will have the confidence to present Clearvision’s solutions to customers, define and identify new business opportunities and develop a client profile for Account Managers before handover.  

The primary role objective is to generate interest from clients, as well as to find new business within existing clients and you will be supported by a large marketing and data team, plus regular event data for you to follow up on.  

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Making calls using pre-defined data, pre-defined scripts and pre-defined email templates (with the opportunity to make these your own once you are comfortable).
  • Making ‘new business’ calls / cold-calling.
  • Investigate all areas of the client’s pain points and review/categorise the lead against B.A.N.T.
  • Perform a full ‘lead handover’ to the assigned Sales Person, this may include finding additional account information such as the ‘decision maker’ on the account, as well as any publically available data/information that may help the salesperson win the account.
  • Follow up event leads and work on historic cold data using the same process/approach as inbound web enquiries.
  • Be thorough in your follow-up of clients and nurture your leads using CRM (Salesforce) and Hubspot with callbacks to create a steady flow of daily work.
  • Generate ‘leads, data and information’ via LinkedIn.
  • Work with a ‘website traffic tool’ to monitor web traffic and action pro-active ‘reach out’ to generate prospect meetings.

Measurable Role Deliverables

This role is responsible for the following deliverables:-

  • Minimum 50 calls per day.
  • 2 Sales Qualified Leads (SQL’s) per day.
  • 10 SQL’s per week.
  • 110 SQL’s per quarter.

Applicant Essentials

  • Some exposure to IT or software (but this is not essential).
  • Knowledge of basic computer skills such as Google or Microsoft suite.

  • Positive attitude.
  • Be a contributor.
  • Willingness to learn.

Remuneration
