Atlassian & Slack Announce New Strategic Partnership

Since the announcement of Atlassian’s own’ Stride, back in September 2017, the real-time communication market has changed dramatically. Although Stride has been a successful product, customers are the priority (as always), which is why the decision to form a strategic partnership with Slack was made.

The decision allows Atlassian to focus on the vision for communication amongst teams & will include, co-built native integrations of Slack with Atlassian products, creating a seamless teamwork experience.

The first set of integrations will be showcased at the Atlassian Summit user conference in Barcelona on September 3rd-5th, 2018.

Supported integrations are already in place for Jira Cloud, Trello & Bitbucket Cloud.

Stride made fantastic progress from the early stages, but customer experience comes first, & the original vision to keep teams moving forward is still very much in place.

Atlassian will provide a smooth migration path to Slack, with Clearvision’s support, ensuring a simple transition for all customers.
