Communication products including Hipchat Cloud, Hipchat Data Center, Hipchat Server & Stride itself, will all be discontinued, & therefore unavailable.
Don’t panic! This does not mean that you won’t be able to continue using these products as of immediate effect. It does, however, mean that teams are no longer able to sign up for Stride as of 26th July 2018; existing users can still add others, & use Stride & Hipchat Cloud products until 15th February 2019.
Customers of Hipchat Data Center & Hipchat Server will, of course, receive ongoing support from a dedicated, small team through to the end of their licensing period.
You can also access retained chats, through the, now available, export feature in Hipchat Server, Data Center & Cloud. After the export, you can delete the archive directly, from within the same admin screen. Data will automatically be deleted within 30 days of export, (should you forget to delete your archive). You can choose to move to Slack immediately, without migrating your data, if you wish. Contact us, for help with your migration.
Atlassian is offering refunds to those who’ve purchased a new annual license within 90 days of 26th July 2018.
